Daniel Brink
Daniel Brink obtained his Ph.D in the group of Marie Gorwa-Grauslund at Applied Microbiology in 2019, after a M.Sc in Engineering in Biotechnology from Lund University in 2014. His research concerns optimization of the performance of yeast strains for the production of bulk chemicals from lignocellulose, including lignin valorisation. Daniel’s scientific interests include in silico modelling and -analysis of large biological data sets (in particular whole-genome bioinformatics), biochemical networks/pathways and single cell measurements.
